Accounts Preparation and Corporation Tax

A common recurring frustration within business is that their accountant takes too long to produce annual financial statements and management account information. Whether you are a Sole Trader, Partnership or Limited Company you can rest assured you will get a quick turnaround on your accounts.

If you operate as a Limited Company you have a number of legal obligations to meet. We will ensure that you understand all of your responsibilities, taking the burden of compliance from your shoulders. Your accounts will be prepared in accordance with the statutory requirements of company law, full accounts will be prepared for the shareholders and HM Revenue & Customs. Providing that your company is small we will prepare and file abbreviated accounts for public record, less information is published here, which protects your privacy.

We offer flexibility regarding payment of fees, which can be agreed in advance of the work being undertaken. Please contact us for further information.

Corporation Tax

Corporation tax is the tax paid by companies on their profits. Unincorporated organisations, such as clubs and societies, also pay corporation tax.

Corporation tax is now administered under a self assessment system - CTSA.

CTSA places enormous responsibility on companies to make full disclosure of all relevant matters to HM Revenue & Customs and to take careful account of these issues when calculating corporation tax due to HMRC.

Our tax specialists can offer advice on the treatment of specific transactions as well as ensuring that your company makes full and complete disclosure of all necessary matters within your CTSA return. Please contact us for more details.
